
Duties:
Working with assisting the Program Coordinator and Communications Coordinator with the following:
-Help coordinate and assemble fundraising mailings (addressing, folding, stuffing, sealing and stamping of mass mailings)
-Copywriting and editing experience
-Assist with special event planning
-Provide support to program staff on special projects and initiatives
-Be skilled at a variety of computer skills, e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe
-Enter and edit data in Excel spreadsheets and create Pivot Tables ~assist with general office tasks (filing, copying, organizing digital photos, etc.) as needed
-Experience creating Microsoft Access Databases is a plus
-Contribute to the development, design, and distribution of flyers and marketing materials.
-Update website and social media outlets
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required
-Possess a high level of organizational skills and be detail oriented
-Possess solid oral and written communication skills
-Be able to operate standard office equipment (fax, photocopier, etc.)
-Be able to juggle multiple tasks
-Be able to provide three letters of reference:
-Consent to a background check and have a current driver’s license and clean driving record.
-Must have appreciation for educational development, event planning and nonprofit management
-Upper-class undergraduate or graduate student is preferred
-Be able to provide proof of current school enrollment
