orth Texas. Honorees were selected based on PSA program school parent conference, school nomination, and written essays about the importance of parental involvement from parents and their kids. Honorees received an award and a brand new computer system.
Community organizations, business people, academic leaders, families and students came together to honor the importance of parental involvement in education. These friends understand the importance parental involvement has on a child’s educational achievement.
This year marked 11 years of empowering families at the “Parent of the Year” Awards Ceremony on December 9th 2016.
