OneLite Outreach Pomona Ca, 2013

Parents Step Ahead’s Board Member Richard Montañez, creator of the “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos” and founder of Onelite Ministry Outreach, along with his family, held their annual OneLite Montañez “Back to School” outreach event on the 10th of August in Pomona CA.  The Onelite Ministry Outreach mission is to bless and inspire families by bringing help and hope to those in need.  The Montañez family and a handful of friends volunteered their time and helped the community get ready for the back to school season.  They gave out more than 5,000 meals, 1,000 back packs full of school supplies, 500 brand new pairs of shoes, 300 boxes full of groceries, and around 100 haircuts among other things.

The Montañez Family, through their Foundation OneLite, seeks to help the most impoverished people and communities in the U.S.  “It’s amazing what a group of committed and passionate individuals can accomplish,” said Richard Montañez, Executive, Multicultural Sales & Community Activation for Pepsico.  “Prosperity is simply having a little extra to give.”   Video of the event: OneLite Outreach Pomona Ca, 2013

  1. I’m a former school counselor and President of Bridge2College. We are a non-profit organization which provides leadership workshops on college access, college advising, college tours and scholarships for underrepresented exemplary high school students in Central California.

We wish to partner with Onelite Ministry Outreach and request a sponsorship of $1,000 to assist us in building bridges to a post-secondary education for our students.

We thank you for considering our request and thank you for your leadership and passion for the success of our communities. We hope that you will continue to be blessed so that you can bless others.

    Sincerely,
    Johnny Baltierra,
    President, Bridge2College (559) 978-5798
