On Saturday, March 2, 2013, Parents Step Ahead (PSA) held the 3rd annual “Family Day” beautification program in Irving ISD at MacArthur High School, Sam Houston Middle School, TJ Lee Elementary School and Clifton Early Childhood Center.

 

TJ Lee Elementary

Students and families helped to beautify the teachers lounge on campus, adding wall decor and new table clothes. These new additions to the room left the teachers lounge with a new relaxing atmosphere. The students and families also organized the area behind the their stage. Rearranging boxes and opening the space.

Sam Houston Middle School

The families of Sam Houston worked hard to decorate the front foyer and display case. Students helped to paint benches and picture frames to be placed in the display case. Students and families also helped organize the school donation clothes closet.

Clifton Early Childhood Center

The childhood center and spruced up their Butterfly Garden, to get it ready to assist teachers in their educating of the children. Toys and equipment used in the school were sanitized.

MacArthur High School

Students and their families helped to beautify their courtyard by creating a brand new garden by planting several flower beds and removing brush to create a beautiful garden. The students also helped to paint and decorate planters.
