Coors Light Líderes honors the importance of leadership in the Hispanic community and works to help up-and-coming Latino leaders to go further. Through our non-profit partnerships, signature programs and long-term investments that support economic development, we are helping to build stronger communities for all of us.

Fernando Osornio is fully immersed in community projects and immigrant rights advocacy movements, all while sharing the passion to encourage higher education among youth across the nation. With over 1,600 hours of community service, Fernando is the first DREAMer to receive the Gold Congressional Award Medal. He has also been recognized with the Presidential Service Award and has achieved more than 16,000 community service hours with exceptional distinction since the age of 14. At 18 years old, Fernando was recognized as one of Dallas/Ft. Worth’s Next Latino Leaders by Informate Magazine. Fernando is co-founder and vice president of the Magdaleno Leadership Institute, an organization that encourages young professionals to strive for servant leadership, academic excellence, and civic empowerment. Fernando attributes his mission of community service to both his mentor Raul Magdaleno and his parents. He is honored to be a son of immigrant parents and will be the first college graduate in his family. Fernando wants to continue inspiring youth to be proud of their heritage as they contribute to society in a meaningful manner. He is a student at the University of Texas at Arlington, obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
