On September 13th-16th 2017, Parents Step Ahead members along with six teachers serving as Teacher Ambassadors from different schools in Texas will travel to Washington D.C. for its 7th annual leadership development experience.
The 2017 PSA Teacher Ambassadors recognized are:

Ivelisse Centeno– La Academia de Estrellas, Dallas ISD, Dallas TX
Manuel Cerda– Sudie Williams Elementary School, Dallas ISD, Dallas TX
Melissa Fulton– John Haley Elementary, Irving ISD, Irving TX
The five-day trip commenced with the 14th Annual National LATINA Symposium (NLS), sponsored by Latina Style, Inc. on September 15th. Ambassadors were recognized as special guests and attended presentations on leadership, career development and STEM.
